From JFK to IWJ.....

To those in Plaid worrying about the implications about joining the Rainbow, or a Red-Green coalition, a small quotation:

"There are risks and costs to a program of action, but they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction."

John F.Kennedy

I can't understand why some Plaid AMs are against having a Plaid First Minister and want to work (be lap-dogs) to Labour and work uder Rhodri Morgan? Have I missed something?

Since when were Labour 'the progressive force' in Welsh politics? They've had 80 years running Wales and 8 years running the Assembly. Pedestrian would be the nicest description of their tenure.

Why are Plaid's left wing campaigining against having a Plaid FM? Don't they see that if Labour is so desperate to stay on to power then there must be a reason for it - i.e. Labour are scared of losing Wales for ever?

Plaid's left are against a coalition with the Tories. It would be embarrassing for them.

It's true that Plaid would lead the coalition, but still...

I do wonder what would happen. Supposedly, there is opposition within Labour to offering a referendum on full assembly powers to Plaid in return for a coalition.

The best way for Plaid to play it is to see which offers the best deal: Labour or the Liberals and tories.
